Role Purpose
The Assistant Engineering manager is a key role in the Saudi Engineering team responsible for providing Engineering Management support across a broad set of challenges to meet the needs of Saudi Programme.

Major Tasks and Activities
As the Assistant Engineering Manager your main responsibilities will involve:-
*Technical Bid Management, ensuring technical proposals and tenders are completed on time and complete the required technical reviews prior to release.
*Generation of Engineering Management Plans for specific areas of responsibility.
*Assisting the Saudi Programme Engineering Manager with management of the Saudi engineering team & the engineering CAM.
*Engineering management support for on-contract PDS activities and the MLU Programme.
*Take the lead for Design Reviews and Technical Bid Reviews for the assigned Saudi Project deliverables.
*Liaison with the Customer and BAE Saudi Arabia teams to help drive the development of requirements.
*Technical liaison with OEMs and Suppliers to ensure relevant requirements are backed off through the Supplier Base.
*Ensuring engineering estimates for proposals are comprehensive and accurately represent the defined scope of work.
*Liaison with Maritime Services Engineering teams to ensure detail design and platform integration activities are completed and certified as required.
*Conducting all activities in a professional manner delivering systems design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality to meet project or business milestones
*Ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with Company, Safety, Environmental, contractual and local business processes, standards, procedures and documentation
*Ensuring accurate records of all design related work in accordance with relevant extant procedures to ensure a complete design record of work undertaken
*Adopt a professional approach to all systems design solutions to ensure knowledge and skills keep pace with the technology
