ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF HOUSING STRATEGY AND REGENERATION - LOCAL AUTHORITY/LONDON BOROUGH

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:- - Ability to develop, direct and manage the housing management client, strategy and regeneration functions within the Housing Division of the Housing, Regeneration and Environment Department in order to provide the best possible services to meet customer needs and aspirations and fulfil my client's vision, in accordance with the Council's policies and objectives.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant central and local Government policy and process.
- Clear knowledge of current issues affecting local authorities and social housing in particular.
- Displays an understanding of the needs and challenges presented by the communities of a deprived inner-city area.
- Experience in senior management role relating to one of - investment, strategy or performance in a large, complex multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Experience of leading successful programmes, managing complex projects with measurable outputs.
- Experience of managing sizeable capital and revenue budgets.
- Business Transformation.
