ASSISTANT CONSOLIDATION ACCOUNTANT
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Qualified Financial Accountant to begin a 6 month contract for a Government Organization.

DESCRIPTION
This role is part of the team that is responsible for the preparation of the Group consolidation Annual Report and Accounts - including the preparation of supporting working papers for the consolidation and intercompany elimination with proofs and supporting calculations for the consolidation adjustments

DUTIES
- Undertake analysis and reconciliation for key areas of the accounts
- Preparation of journals for uploads
- Provide high quality technical input and support in relation to the consolidation of ALBs into DCMS annual report
- Assist with the preparation of the returns for the Whole Government Accounts (WGA)
- Other Ad-Hoc tasks

SKILLS
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience of working un an assistant Financial Accounting/Reporting role
- Working knowledge of SORP, IFRS and FRem
- Background of producing Consolidated Accounts
- Knowledge of HM Treasury's guidance on Financial Reporting, Public money, and supply estimates
- Prophix Software
- Qualified Accountant
- Security Clearance beneficial
