My Client is a major Government body, looking for a professional Assistant Category Manager. The ideal candidate will be available as soon as possible.

The position is supporting the embedment of a strategically important managed category. Please also note that the role can be based in either Leeds or Birmingham.

The Role:

Support the category manager in administering a strategically important category by;
- Advising supply chain partners on the running of category competitions
- Monitoring adherence to the Client's procurement policy and attending supply chain category meetings.

Requirements:

- Procurement adminstratory experience
- construction/civil engineering procurement background
- Public sector experience
