Assistant Buyer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ASSISTANT BUYER to join our client in Channelview, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor status of material handling and delivery to ensure materials/services will be delivered on schedule
- Generate team reports for Oil and Gas sourcing
- Maintain Oracle and Ad Hoc reporting for Oil and Gas sourcing team weekly
- Expedite materials to fabrication needs
- Assist buyer with PO contract maintenance and vendor relations
- Coordinate and develop training for suppliers to accomplish business initiatives
- Resolve challenges involving invoicing
- Analyze, clean, validate and manipulate data using databases such as AD Hoc and Oracle

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Excel intermediate use (5 to 7 years) experience
- MS OfficeSome VBA may be required
- Time management for various projects at once
- Heavy Organizational Skills
