Assistant Business Consultant/HR Transformation Consultant/HR Business Consultant wanted.

My Bristol based client is looking for an Assistant Business Consultant/HR Transformation Consultant/HR Business Consultant wanted for an initial 6 month contract.

The role:
*Work in partnership with key stakeholders, identify people related business issues and propose HR solutions.
*Support large-scale change within the organisation which includes the introduction of new ways of working and new Terms and Conditions for staff.
*Assist in Trade Union negotiations regarding changes within the organisation.
*Support the communication of changes to staff and managers.
*Carry out research in support of the HR Business Consultants and produce first drafts of papers with proposals for HR interventions across a range of OD, reward and ER issues.
*Work with the Business Consultants to provide input into policy development which meets the client's needs.
*Coach Managers to lead and manage the change agenda by improving the people capabilities of their teams.
*Provide guidance and knowledge of the HR Functional areas, providing quality help and support to the wider HR team and the business.

Skills and experience required for Assistant Business Consultant/HR Transformation Consultant/HR Business Consultant:
*Experience of working with Trade Union Side
*Change management experience
*Previous involvement in transformation projects
*Understanding of HR best practice, processes and associated legislation
*Experience of working in a people management environment; advising managers on people management issues
*Experience of identifying root causes of issues/problems and; able to start developing appropriate solutions
*Experience of identifying and engaging with stakeholders, managing their expectations and balancing their competing needs
*Experience in delivering HR plans, processes and solutions to support significant organisational change
*Evaluating and reporting on organisational performance against given standards, for example IiP.
*An appreciation of operational business objectives
