My client, a global FMCG company are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join their Global Headquarters. This is a 3 month contract position with the option to go permanent. The ideal candidate will have experience with in an FMCG or Beauty Brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading global organisation and work on a key Beauty Brand. I am looking for candidates who have experience in FMCG or a big Beauty Manufacturer/Beauty brand who will be able to hit the ground running in an Assistant Brand Management position.

Responsibilities:

Excellent execution of Activity plans - On time, in full.
* Including all relevant media but excluding in store execution. Exploit campaign idea from the "Think Big Pack" with flair and creativity.
* Lead and project manage local roll-out of all relevant IPM projects.
* Develop and gain agreement to parts of Contracts (business case) & full Launch gates.
* Lead cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of launch plans and post-launch evaluation
* Manage the brand budget to ensure spend is in line with agreements.
* Internal launches
* Provide input into Trade Category Manager and Customer Marketing for brand(s).
* Work with Brand Managers to assist in building plans to grow our customers categories
* Support customer marketing managers to develop bespoke co-marketing plans for relevant customers and shoppers as identified in the company planning process. (Within this, be responsible for providing Brand Style Guidelines and pulsing plan presentations).
*Constantly review brand and initiative performance for ongoing improvement
* Continuously understand ongoing business performance using key diagnostics of share and growth trends, key initiatives, competitive activity and return on marketing investment.

Requirements

* Understanding of consumers & shoppers to discover insights
* Understanding of retail channels & customers
* Analysing 6P performance
* Aligning cross functional team to Jobs to be done
* Developing detailed brand activity plan
* Working with Customer Development to achieve listings, availability and visibility targets
* Developing & executing communication plans in-market
* Tracking performance and optimising plans and mixes
* Someone who has worked on a brand in the UK market or a market very similar eg Ireland or US
* Experience leading projects and be able to clearly define the outcomes
* Strong commercial acumen eg understand a profit and loss sheet and how to work through a business case on innovation
