Assistant Accountant - Temp to Perm

Badenoch & Clark are currently looking for a part qualified accountant for the role of assistant accountant for a temporary to permanent role in the Taunton area. It is very much intended for this role to become a full time permanent post but due to changes within the business, an immediate permanent role cannot currently be offered.

As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the general ledger and reporting activities on a day to day, weekly and monthly basis.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Assisting with monthly management reporting and analysis
- Statutory accounting
- Accounts reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT calculations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Financial forecasting

You will be an ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant with proven experience gained within a similar role. You will possess strong Excel ability and be keen to continue your studies through to qualification. Unfortunately candidates qualified by experience or that have already completed their qualification will not be suitable for the role
