Assistant Accountant - FTSE 250 Company

A FTSE 250 client is currently recruiting for a French speaking, part-qualified accountant, for their European Group Finance Team -department Country Reporting & Insight. In this role you will be responsible for the financial and management accounts of our entities in Belgium,FranceandLuxembourg.

Main Responsibilities

* Ensure high quality of information is provided to management
* Ensure numbers provided are free from error and misstatement
* Adherence to the reporting timetable for monthly management accounts
* Month-end accruals and provisions
* Variance analysis for both Income statement and Balance sheet on a monthly basis - including commentary
* Ensure all balance sheets reconciliations are produced to a high standard

Skills & Knowledge

* Language: French
* CIMA/ACCA part-qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
* Strong command over MS Excel
* SAP ERP and Business Objects reporting tool exposure (desirable but not mandatory)
* Strong analytical skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
