LOCATION: Southburn Nr Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - 12 Month fixed contract covering Maternity Leave

THE COMPANY: Our client is a progressive family owned farming and international pig breeding business based at Southburn, near Driffield in East Yorkshire.

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Accountant to join this highly successful company. This position is a temporary 12 month contract covering Maternity leave. The key purpose of the position is to provide Accounts support on a daily basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- -

MANAGING SALES & PURCHASE LEDGERS

CODING AND PROCESSING OF INVOICES

CASH ALLOCATION

CASH BOOKS

CREDIT CONTROL

RECONCILIATION OF FINANCIAL INFORMATION

THE CANDIDATE: Although not essential the ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Assistant Accountant with a good working knowledge of the above duties.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, good telephone manner and the ability to organise priorities in order to meet deadlines.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- -

Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant would be an advantage but not essential
