Assistant Accountant

My client a leading energy provider in the UK currently have an urgent requirement for an Assistant Accountant. They require and experienced assistant accountant who has sound knowledge within AR (Accounts Receivable) and AP (Accounts Payable). It is essential that applicants must have previous experience as an SAP user and understands the system. The successful candidate shall also be required to produce some Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.

The type of person required should have a good analytical mind, with the ability to understand the key financial implications of a scenario, all the connections between different areas of activity, and their impact on each other. You will also have good communication skills and be able to interact confidently with people at all levels, to present facts and figures in a clear and meaningful way, and to work happily within a small team environment.
