ASSET RESPONSE PROJECT MANAGER, NETWORK OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

- salary of £500 per day
- contract min of 5 Months
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday, Covering the morning and evening peak times.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- This role is to manage the development and delivery of a programme of projects to an agreed scope, time and cost.
- In this role you will be acting on behalf of the Area Director South as a response manager.
- You will be required to provide key communications between, control, staff, supervisors, depot managers and TOCS representatives.
- The position will involve reviewing our response capabilities in relation to both operational and maintenance projects.
- Also responsible for the communication of the rectification plan to all parties.
- You will lead daily conferences as required and be the key communicator to all the staff attending railway failures.
- You'll be expected to attend any failure that causes significant delays and to review the details of the failure to ascertain whether a root cause has been established.
- You'll also be responsible for reducing outstanding faults and looking for ways to improve delays per incidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Knowledge of programme management processes & techniques
- Knowledge of maintenance management
- health and safety management & compliance experience
- Business management processes and techniques
- Knowledge and experience of relevant standards and procedures
- Experience of a operational railway environment
- Full Knowledge of CDM regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good influencing, and organisation skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
