Asset Manager

Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently recruiting for an Asset Manager on a 6 month contract, with both interview and start date ASAP. You will report to the Property Manager and be responsible for up to four Estate Surveyors. The role will involve creating and supporting an Asset/Estate management function.

You will be:

* Developing an efficient and effective asset management function
* Negotiating new lettings, assignations, lease renewals and rent reviews
* Providing asset valuations and property related advice
* Deputising for the Property Manager when appropriate

You must have:

* Significant experience in Estate Surveying and management
* Experience of developing asset management strategies and policies
* Knowledge of property related aspects of Statutory Health and Safety Legislation
* Experience of undertaking valuations, rating appeals, lease renewals and rent reviews
