Assessment Report Writer

My central Government health client is looking for an Assessment Report Writer (ARW) who will work closely with the Assessment Manager(s)and the assessors on individual cases to produce the assessment reports. The ARW will be involved in drafting, editing and coordinating the production of assessment reports, including liaising with assessors, senior managers and experts in the field of assessment about the content of the report. Full training and support will be provided.

Essential skills:
- Experience of preparing reports for use in formal processes, such as HR or legal processes.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience within the health sector.
- Strong written communication skills and experience of/ability to draft and edit reports or other complex, formal documents effectively to ensure they are presented clearly and professionally.
- Ability to analyse and understand complex issues, with excellent attention to accuracy and detail.
- Highly organised with an ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- An ability to work effectively in a team, supporting and encouraging other team members.
- Strong oral communication skills, including negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact, diplomacy and empathy.
- An understanding of and commitment to equality and diversity at work.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality at work.
