ASSESSED SITE ENGINEER/EXPERIENCED SITE ENGINEER

Multiple contract opportunities to work as a Site Engineer are available with a globally leading telecoms company. They are looking for either assessed or experienced Site Engineers to support the quality and technical follow-up of site construction including radio equipment.

The roles are being offered on a contract basis in the west of the Netherlands in the Rotterdam area. They are available on a very competitive daily rate on an initial six month contracts that have the potential to be extended.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Act as the Lead Engineer for site visits during the acquisition process, discussing the technical solution with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate and drive technical site surveys, collecting the necessary documentation to formulate the technical site survey reports.
- Continuously update each sites' development plans as they change.
- Organise and attend kick off meetings prior to site construction.
- Collect and control quality of site audit reports, site acquisition documents and site drawings.
- Supervise the site building process, including R&D, ATND, site acquisition, CW design, CW construction, installation and integration, initial tuning and acceptance.
- Work closely with Roll-out Managers, escalating issues accordingly.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- At least 2 years' experience of supporting turn-key rollout projects within the telecoms industry.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer for site acquisition, installation and commissioning.
- Experience of leading or managing subcontractor teams.
- Experience with dealing with site health and safety issues will be highly desirable.
- Language skills in Dutch or French and English are required.
