My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Wolverhampton, are looking to recruit a Assembly Process Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering division on a 6 month contract basis.

Rate: £37.00 p/h Ltd co
Location: Wolverhampton

Skills Required:

*Knowledge of high volume assembly processes.
*Able to drive continuous improvement and implement lean tools and techniques
*Good knowledge of process control and capability tools including PFMEA, Control plans and Cpk analysis
*Able to coach others across assembly functions to build strong relationships at all levels
*Able to manipulate and analyse data with strong IT skills and a enthusiasm for identifying and implementing improvements

Skills Preferred:

*CAD, Knowledge of engine 3Cs component machining

Experience Required:

*Background in high volume machining and automotive production processes
*A process driven approach with experience of lean manufacturing, problem solving tools, quality assurance techniques and process controls
*Experience of working in a quality lead environment

Experience Preferred:

*Project management
*Evidence of working in a safety first culture
