SOFTWARE SPECIALISTS IS LOOKING FOR ASSEMBLY/MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN IN WAUKESHA, WI (09 MONTHS ASSIGNMENT) FOR ONE OF OUR PRESTIGIOUS CLIENT. BELOW ARE THE DETAILS.

JOB TITLE: ASSEMBLY/MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: WAUKESHA, WI 53188 (PREFER LOCAL CANDIDATES WITHIN 25 MILES)

DURATION: 09 MONTHS

SHIFT: 1ST SHIFT

PAYRATE: $21.00 PER HOUR ON W2

JOB OVERVIEW

Perform basic manufacturing Bay technician work, including:

- Testing detector modules for classification
- Kitting and packaging modules for shipment to customer
- Arraying/de-arraying detectors before and after Bay test
- Performing reclaim activities to salvage parts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associates degree and 3-5 years technical experience
- Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem solving techniques
- Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
- Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
- Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
- Demonstrated ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology
- Ability to communicate using English
- Demonstrated technical leadership ability
