Assembler III

DESCRIPTION:

We do not work on a Bench top, we Assemble large components to a Gantry.

It requires standing in a Workstation mounting large electronic Assemblies to the Casting.

The Mechanical skills would be similar to working on a car, but with the larger items of the car (transmission, motor, as well as the smaller items starter, radiator, brakes).

We also run all the cables and install pcb's to the Gantry

EXPERIENCE:

Requires a minimum of High school diploma with 0 - 4 years of electrical/mechanical assembly experience

Has experience working with both mechanical and electrical component assembly processes on a moving assembly system or flow line process.

Ability to read both electrical schematics and blue prints.

Able to follow standard work instructions, product assembly specifications and installation procedures.

Experience working with both semi-automated and manual assembly tools.

PREFERRED:

2 - 4 years of electrical/mechanical assembly experience.

Understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerancing.

Includes gauging methodologies, electrical measurement systems and torque specifications

Lean implementation experience working with 5S, Kaizen, Gemba, Visual Factory, Value Stream mapping and Hijunka methodologies.

Experienced with Hand tool, DC rundown/fastening systems, torque wrenches, shim gauges, fixtures, dial indicators, etc.)
