AUTOMATIC SPEECH RECOGNITION DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Mateo, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Speech Recognition Software skills
- Programming in C

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop robust automatic speech recognition (ASR) technologies to various kinds of distortions and variations such as channel and environment distortions, emotional speech, variety of speaking rate and speaking style for multiple languages.
- Implement and research of ASR and automatic pronunciation generation for multiple languages.
- Integrate and research of ASR with technologies of microphone array, echo cancellation, speech enhancement, and other DSP processing for far-field voice recognition under noise.
- Research practical issues of very large vocabulary continuous voice recognition performance under variety of game sounds and music background.
- What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Samples of software you have written in C
- Some type of experience with Speech Recognition or IVR

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Speech Recognition Software
- Experience programming in C

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with HMM based TTS
- Speech recognition or speech synthesis Work experience of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
