Join one of the Big 4 consulting firms as a Senior ASP.NET MVC Developer working on complex, enterprise-scale web applications. This is SDLC development using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, TDD and XP. Use MS Visio to prepare technical design documents, and Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript based frameworks such as JQuery, HTML programming, XML, WCF, SQL Server technologies ( T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS ). Create technical artifacts using Microsoft Office, Visio and other modelling tools. Create builds for software releases for quality assurance/QA and client user acceptance testing/UAT. Work with IT support and other functions to resolve issues in releases. Use and improve established software development frameworks, standards and processes while working on products
Remote work is a possibility once you learn our client's environment and trust is established. The time you can remote will vary from 0-80% and be project and your individual performance dependent. There are no hard and fast rules or timeframes, but the team offers the flexibility for those that demonstrate high levels of expected performance.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Strong skills in ASP.NET MVC framework application development
- RESTful services
- C#/ASP.NET 3.5/4.0 Web Development
- Strong experience in designing and developing layered web based applications with a SQL Server 2005/2008 -Back End (T-SQL/SSIS/SSRS/Stored Procedures/Joins/Triggers/Functions ).
- HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Strong experience in identifying and implementing proper software design patterns based on the solution
- Prior experience working on projects using SCRUM and TDD ( Test Driven Development ) with minimal supervision and guidance
- Identify and understand the scope of functionality and suggest development solutions with cost benefit and design options
- Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high-quality deliverables
Bonus skills!
- SSIS and Telerik controls
- JQuery, Entity framework, XML, WCF
- Prior experience on performance tuning (application or database) and security fixing is preferred.
