ASP.NET MVC Developer/Javascript/Jquery/HTML5/$55-60 p/hr

SENIOR ASP.NET/MVC DEVELOPER: ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS

We are looking for a Senior ASP.NET Developer that is comfortable working in a consulting capacity at one of our client sites in Alpharetta. This position will require a mix of Front End and Back End development experience in an agile environment. We are open to hiring contract and contract-to-permanent.

The successful candidate will have the lead role in planning, development, and deployment of a new platform to support a portfolio of listing websites and mobile applications. You will play a critical role in not only development but solving actual business problems as well. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Function as team lead and/or senior developer working on the .NET platform web applications using Agile processes to develop and implement software solutions.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating meetings, solving issues, managing risk and quality, motivating people, and interacting with personnel from other departments
- Review, critique, and improve business requirements and convert to detail design and technical documentations, ability to determine contingency, and mitigation requirements
- Vision of software engineering excellence, including architecture (depending on experience), technology, security, and standards
- Balance the short-term tactical as well as the long-term strategic implications of development choices.
- Lead technically complex, data-driven website implementation projects
- Application architecture/design/analysis/interfacing (depending on experience) as well as hands on development.
- Deliver high quality code in .NET that supports Company's multiple web products.
- Coach/mentor other developers to assist the team with best practices, code reviews, troubleshooting, estimation, testing, and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of software development experience in C# ASP.NET - must be hands-on coder.
- 5+ years of developing for multi-tiered Internet websites with C#
- Understanding of SQL Server 2008, PL/SQL, T-SQL
- Business analysis and solution design skills.
- Ability to develop specification and lead development efforts
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Web Services development
- Fundamental understanding of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML
- Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and IIS (web-based, database-driven applications)
