ASP.NET MVC Developer for York (UK)

Our client in York - UK is looking for a .NET "DIGITAL MARKETING PROGRAMMER".

The consultant will be primarily responsible for writing of software and amendments to existing software written in C# (and Java) and ASP.NET MVC.
The mission includes both maintenance of existing software and creation of new projects.
Database programming (SQL, T-SQL) using Microsoft SQL Server will be part of the assignment.
The goal of the project is to create an interface in between 2 platforms, one in a bit older technology (ASP), the other in a newer technology(ASP.NET MVC).

The candidate will be working to extremely tight deadlines and will need adequate communication skills for progress reporting.

Mandatory knowledge:
* .NET
* ASP
* ASP.NET, MVC
* MS Visual Studio
* SQL Server 2008
* Javascript, jquery

Nice to have knowledge:
* Java
