ASP.NET - Java Developer

1 year plus contract for a Sr. with 5-7 years experience with ASP.NET and JAVA Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL skills. This is Back End development and support work.

Candidates need to have experience writing queries in Oracle 9i and above. JAVA development is strongly needed and a big plus. Business Objects development is a plus.

Candidate must be able to dig into existing code to determine how it is structured and how enhancement requirements will fit into the existing code set.

Must also be able to take raw requirements and develop a plan of attack for coding a solution based on them. The candidate needs to be a self-starter and be able to work with little supervision and follow established policies and procedures. On call duties will be required.

Contractors at this level solve more complex problems, in application areas of specialization, with general supervision.

They are effective in applying fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied.

Required Skills:
-.net and PL/SQL development
-Able to work effectively with less defined direction requiring greater judgment
-Able to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form to departmental management and any other necessary audience
-Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results

Preferred Skills:
JAVA development.
