ASP.NET Developer - Front Office Commodities

Location: London

Key Tech: C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio System 2010, MVVM, .NET 3.5/4, MVC, Silverlight, WCF, SQL Server 2008, Rhino Mocks, Test Driven Development (TDD).

Leading Energy Trading client requires a talented .NET Developer with solid web development skills to work closely with the business to develop and prototype solutions using Microsoft technologies in an Agile environment.

The Front Office Developer will sit in the business working closely with the Operations and Quants team developing and prototyping quick win business solutions.

Experience Required:
- Ability to balance ideal solutions with practical delivery of requirements
- Extensive Object Oriented Analysis and design experience.
- Excellent knowledge of design patterns and re-factoring Test-Driven Design (TDD) using testing tools NUnit, Mock Objects, etc.
- Analytical thinker
- Business experience in the Energy or Financial trading environment is important
- Knowledge of VBA and Excel programming

Rate: £450 - £550

Contract: 6 months
