ASP.Net Developer - C# - Norwich - to £28 per hour, 6 months contract

Our client is one of the UK's leading regional insurance brokers and independent financial advisors in East Anglia and we are looking for a talented, experienced and proven ASP.NET Web Developer to join a team of development specialists.
This is a hands-on role where the successful applicant will be given scope to use all their coding knowledge and skills to shape websites and online user experiences.
This is an important role within the Group's IT team and you will be expected to work closely with the Directors, Marketing Team, Managers and end users across the business to discuss and deliver new specifications.
Success in this role will be measured on the ability to plan, build and work to deadlines as well as to develop solutions that aid conversion rates and usability. It is important that candidates bring a commercial focus into the role.
The role involves building new sites as well as supporting existing ones and responding to user queries.
Required Technical Skills: A minimum of 2 years commercial experience of ASP.NET (C#) though some VB.NET experience is advantageous due to legacy projects. Visual Studio 2008 or above HTML (standards compliant) / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery/ AJAX Required Personal Skills: A team player who has an excellent ability to work well with others and manage communication with other teams Good interpersonal skills, required for communicating with other members of staff and business units Excellent problem solving skills and a self-starter who is keen to investigate new technologies and suggest new ideas. Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and concepts as well as mentoring others. Additional Desired Skills: ASP.NET MVC 3 / 4 SharePoint development experience Business knowledge of the insurance industry
