ASP.NET and Java Developer

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES REQUIRED
OUR CLIENT REQUIRES THE SERVICES OF A ASP.NET AND JAVA DEVELOPER TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW CAPABILITY RELATING TO A RECENTLY DELIVERED SERVICE MANAGEMENT TOOL SUITE.
This group is working for the Operational Services and is responsible for the development and operational support of the Service Management Tooling in the IM department of our client.

The developer will provide services to the team responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of our Service Management tooling in production.
The solution is based on Solutions Enterprise Server and ITSM tools.

The consultant shall integrate new service requests for implementation into the delivered client solution.
These Service requests are required by the Service Management areas relating to Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.

DELIVERABLES
Assist in the development, integration and maintenance of the Service Management suite of applications running on iET Enterprise with other business process managed within our client.
Maintain in Production the suite of applications that support the Service Management processes within our client.

Knowledge/Skills:
Several years of experience in the IT service management environment.
Knowledge of using modern methods and tools such as JAVA EE, C #, ASP.NET, WEB SERVICES OR SOA.
KNOWLEDGE AND PROVEN EXPERIENCE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT WITH JAVA, C # AND ASP.NET
KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE OF DATABASES AND DATABASE DESIGN USING MS-SQL SERVER
Create functional and technical concepts to support an in-house implementation of Enterprise Application Server.
Ability to analyse customer requirements and translate these in to Technical solutions.
Implementation of customer requirements
Testing and documentation.
Interaction with Vendor support to resolve technical issues encountered in the project.

Desirable skills:
Advantageous experience with agile project management methodologies such as Prince2.
Certification/appreciation of ITIL Foundation V3.
Technically enthusiastic practitioner who can undertake a methodical approach to development and Application Support.
