ASP / C#.Net Developer

The role of a web application developer will involve developing features and fixing defects for the companys products and services. The day-to-day activities of the successful web application developers will include but are not limited to:

-Designing, developing and documenting new back-end software features
-Reproducing and resolving technical defects during staging and post-launch.
-Integrating third-party technologies and making use of third-party data.
-Working with the broader technology team to find the best-fit solutions to technical and business problems.

The following skills and characteristics will be required to do this:

-Strong practical knowledge of the ASP.Net
-MVC Experience
-Strong practical knowledge of the Agile development process
-Strong practical knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
-Knowledge of best practice and emerging internet technologies
-Knowledge of Internet application technologies

The following skills and characteristics are desirable but can be developed in the role:

-Hands-on experience in a commercial development organisation
-Practical knowledge of SQL Relational Databases
-Experience using a distributed SCM such as Mercurial
