ASIC Metier Management (m/f/d)

* The Mission:
* Establish and manage a team of ASIC design experts in Valeo
* Responsible to deploy and implement electronic ASICS standards for automotive ASIC design
* Define processes, methods and tools for the team and in the company
* Deliver on time, with the right quality, at the right cost, in line with development rules of the company
* Guarantees the technical quality of the ASIC developments and the know-how capitalization
* P&L responsibility for the ASIC metier

* Management Competency
* Recruitment of the ASIC design team members
* Manages the ASIC design team according to company rules to be established
* Develop ASIC competences to cope with expectations/market trends/new technologies, identifies and develops internal HW competences according to market trends/new technologies for automotive designs
* Plans team career evolutions, provides them adequate trainings
* Organizes the HW ASIC projects and manages the priorities, Reports the ASIC HW progress to the BG Electronics manager
* Participates to company HW network for knowledge/know-how sharing Standardization; Robust Design
* Guarantees the quality of HW ASIC developments with deployment and application of HW ASIC methodology/best practices and with design review supervision
* Participates to the definition of ASIC supplier roadmaps in cooperation with the Purchasing department
* Select Suppliers for ASIC design and manufacturing activities
* Manage design to cost
* Process, Methodology, Tools, Equipment
* Deploy standard ASIC HW development processes and Standards ASIC HW tools
* Optimize standard tools to foster efficiency
* Enable Design to cost and design to manufacturing strategy
* P&L responsibility for the ASIC metier
* Make-/Buy decisions for ASIC components & design activities
* Responsible of the Team Efficiency Plan and achievements
* Quote solutions during RFQ and follow the execution within the budget

* Have experience in similar positions;
* Have an experience in managing a team
* Be fluent in English
