ASIC Development Technician Job

ASIC DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Deer Park, Illinois.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Integrated circuit testing
- PCB design

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Testing an Integrated Circuit (IC) to verify the characteristics towards a defined component specification and in conformity to valid processes and methods.
- Create the IC test specification, defining related parameter/functional test setups incl. test equipment and verifying parameters/functions to ensure compliance to the valid and agreed specification together with the ASIC Developer.
- Program the test equipment as well as supporting the ASIC developer for the programming of specific test software.
- Maintenance of the IC verification document and the documentation of all test results.
- Responsible for test specification correctness and completeness in regards to the valid and agreed component specification.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering/Microelectronics or appropriate qualification - Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years related experience
- Experience in electrical circuits and PCB design
- Experience in test automation tools (eg LabView)
- Experience in automotive product development
- Experience with analog circuit test
- Experience with office tools (eg MS Office)
