ASIC Design

ASIC Design Engineer needed for a 12 month contract assignment with a leading healthcare semiconductor vendor €60 to €70 per hour depending on level of relevant experience.

Tasks include:

The ASIC designer will be tasked with and responsible for the implementation, documentation and verification of VHDL modules as set out within the specification defined by the ASIC architect.

You will also be responsible for the integration of the VHDL modules into the top-level IC design and you will contribute to the SoC verification and validation.

You will report directly to the ASIC Architect and Project Manager on the progress within an agreed frequency.

Skills:

- Strong VHDL hardware description and knowledgeable about IP verification.
- Experienced professional in ASIC Front End IC design and verification methodologies.
- You have an understanding of ASIC architectures including digital and analogue interfaces, multi-processor architectures etc..
- Ideally but not necessarily, you have experience in FPGA based Real Time verification on SoC level, as this assignment is a more standard IC designer role.
- Project experience within organisations compliant to ISO9001 and CMMI standards.
