AS9100/Nadcap Quality Manager - £48,000

A gloucester based Aerospace engineering company is seeking a dynamic individual to join their organisation as Quality Manager. The Company is part of a larger Group of companies, which are involved in the manufacture of sheet detail fabrications and fluid form pressed details, for the global aerospace industry. The successful candidate must be fully conversant with the requirements of AS9100 Rev C and NADCAP requirements for special process, namely, heat treatment, welding, anodising and painting. The role will include: ensuring that all internal processes and procedures conform to meet customer quality requirements; maintaining approvals and leading audit exercises; working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that robust manufacturing processes are in place; and carrying out investigations of non-conformance escapes through various quality tools, for example, 5Y, fishbone, 8D etc. Candidates must have the ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision, manage workloads, priorities and subordinate workloads as required to achieve set tasks. Whilst mainly based in the gloucester area, the successful candidate must be willing to travel to other sites when necessary.
