ROLE: AS400 RPG development/Support Consultant

LOCATION: Katowice - Poland

JOB TYPE: Contract

CONTRACT DURATION: 3 months initially

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Should have 5-8 years of experience in AS400 application development/Support
- Should be experienced in RPG400, RPGLE concepts
- Should have working experience on IBM Client Access/IBM PC Communicator, SQL/400, ALDON & DB2/400
- Should have work experience in Application development and support projects with good understanding of SDLC and SLAs.
- Should have a good understanding of Finance, manufacturing & Inventory/warehousing/Distribution
- process. Generally the SCM domain knowledge is desired but not mandatory
- Should be able to write technical specifications
- Should be able to provide Technical support to Development and Support team.
- Should have good communication skills and experience in working with international customers directly. EDI knowledge is a big plus but not mandatory.
