AS400 DEVELOPER (I-SERIES) - BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH only

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 3 years experience in software analysis & development on I-Series
- Programming languages: thorough knowledge of SQL and RPG ILE (Free) including Embedded SQL
- Knowledge of IBM Rational Developer and IBM Data Studio
- Knowledge of XML
- Knowledge of communication methods on I-Series:
- MQ Series
- FTP
- DDM
- IFS
- Familiar with PC windows MS Office
- Knowledge in the following is an asset:
- RPG400 or older
- Familiarity with a software change management system, preferably ALDON Lm(i)
- Webservices/SOAP
- IBM API's

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Integrate in the current development and support team
- Develops and maintains in-house solutions for business requirements
- Application development and maintenance role, reporting to a Software Solution team leader
- Investigate issues within the I-Series applications and/or be part of project teams developing new solutions
