AS 400 Developer

AS400 Developer
Our client is looking for a AS400 Analyst/Developer to join their team on a client site in Sydney CBD.

EXPERIENCE:

- Three + years experience in software development and/or support
- Experience delivering major pieces of work in a complex project environment
- Experience providing quality review and technical advice to a development or support team desirable

Accountabilities
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE:

- In some instances deliver quality sustainable development solutions for projects and/or enhancements, in line with the broader business and technology strategies, with the goal of continuously advancing the portfolio to meet business requirements
- Attend meetings with other technology and business groups to understand the requirements.
- Provide technical solution to the requirements after analysis of applications on AS400.
- Modify/Build code in RPG
- Create unit test plan for components of the application.
- Write system/regression test cases for overall application.
- Provide Support to Business during UAT.
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to multitask in a high pressure project situations.
