Our client based in Maidenhead is looking for an Artwork Project Manager to start ASAP. You will be reporting to the Director of Portfolio Harmonization.

The Artwork Project Manager - GFO will lead the artwork pillar for a global portfolio harmonisation and complexity reduction programme in the EMEA region. He/she will co-ordinate all major communications between the programme's core team, individual project teams, the GFO skincare teams, the Regional Marketing Office, Regulatory Affairs, Support of In-market products and the lead artwork agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Efficiently schedule, monitor, control and communicate all artwork development for the programme in close liaison with the lead artwork agency and the programme core team according to the programme's established artwork process
- Align senior stakeholders on artwork project issues and lead the programme's artwork council
- Monitor and plan for artwork synergies with projects outside of the programme
- Risk management and escalation of business critical issues

Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities:

- Business degree or equivalent
- Proven successful track record of complex artwork project management within consumer/FMCG categories in a multiple-project scenario
- Confident leader who thrives in a multi-functional Matrix structure
- Proven experience in successfully setting boundaries in a professional and cooperative manner
- Manage expectations by having - when required - the ability to push back on requests and demands that are unaligned to the project's deliverables
- Possess the persuasion skills to influence internal clients and stakeholders re urgent requirements especially when dealing with resistance
- Excellent time management skills accompanied by being highly organised due to the large and complex data involved in the project
- Proven experience and ability to work independently, on one's own initiative and without the presence of an on-site line manager
- Proven experience of successfully working in cross-functional, international/multi-cultural and virtual teams
- Possess the flexibility, agility and organisational skills to respond to changing business requirements in a complex corporate environment
- Proven ability to successfully interact with senior management and build trust-based relationships through highly developed interfacing and communication skills
- Proven focus and determination on driving project timelines with successful outcomes (on-time and on budget)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven experience of efficient resource planning for artwork development and of efficient smoothing of workload requirements for timely artwork delivery across multiple projects
- Proven ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent people management skills including proven experience in successfully leading others and in conducting performance appraisals
- Proven experience of managing budgets
- Focused with a positive can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience of using relevant databases/systems for artwork development and tracking
- Flexibility within the role as required by the needs of the business
- Second European language (ie German or French)
