My client, a leading Investment Bank undergoing a number of significant and interesting projects is now looking for a strong Ariba Procurement Project Manager who has a proven track record of achievement and success in delivering Procurement projects, to be involved in an ongoing programme of work.

In this Procurement Project Manager role you will lead/deliver a new Ariba implementation for the Bank. The role involves accountability for the delivery and will be aligned to the programme/project objectives, with reporting lines and project milestones being a key objective.

You will be responsible for:
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify sourcing impacts of divestment/acquisition initiatives, and consequent supplier impacts.
- Project Manage procurement aspects and deliverables of the divestment/procurement projects, ensuring appropriate reporting deadlines and quality are met, and that effective plans are in place to ensure milestones are met or mitigating plans are in place.
- Facilitate and support cross-functional teams in the development of sourcing and implementation strategies
- Liaise with other teams to ensure effective Procurement involvement in divestment/acquisition programmes
- Assist the business to analyse the divestment operational requirements and determine improvement opportunities associated with meeting those requirements via optimized sourcing solutions.

You will ideally be:
. Have demonstrable knowledge of the procurement process within the Financial Services environment
. Have a detailed understanding and experience of ARIBA
. A Prince2 Practitioner with excellent knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, project life cycle knowledge and ability to demonstrate practical usage
. Able to demonstrate extensive experience in project planning, tracking and progress reporting
. Able to demonstrate experience of driving change forward and liaison and co-ordination of various functions whilst considering cost implications
. Able to detail sustained exposure to liaising internally with IT teams and business users in the context of programme deliverables
. Strong at collating Business Requirements including documentation and transfer to functional specification (IT)
. Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio skills
