£16.00 - £20.00 per hour

We are looking for an Area Supported Housing Manager to work on an an ongoing agency contract for a Housing Association based in Wimbourne, Dorset.

The organisation are a not for profit housing association that provides sheltered housing support to elderly residents across 9 sites in Dorset & Hampshire.

The purpose of the role is to manage and take responsibility for the house staff that work in the individual sites and to assist with the day to day operations ensuring the provision of a quality service for older people..

This will be achieved through the following duties

> Ensure that the houses are properly and sufficiently staffed at all times
> Carry out the recruitment process, including interviewing and employment checks
> Undertake appraisals and staff training assessments
> Create training plans and organise training
> Deal with staff issues and complaints, including the disciplinary and grievance procedures
> Manage staff holiday requests, sickness or other absence
> Organise and accurately record house cover
> Ensure that staff files comply with statutory requirements

Successful applicants will be able to display a significant track record of managing care or supported housing services, excellent staff management and leadership skills.

The role is full time on an ongoing interim basis, the role has the potential to be offered permanently to the right applicant. £16-£20 per hour available immediately. Driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
