As an integral part of the team you will be required to liaise with both existing and new clients to establish their needs and identify the suite of drilling equipment / machinery and services to fulfill their requirements. As an experienced Sales Manager you will be required to establish on-going relationships to help place the company as the supplier of choice.
Other duties will include:
* Generating and supervising the handling of technical and commercial enquires, tenders and contracts and issuing quotations
* Participating in the preparation of the annual business plan and business development strategy by identifying new sales and service opportunities along with any client specific requirements;
* Assisting with preparation and review of marketing material such as Company brochures, datasheets, documents and advertisements;
* Proactively seeking competitive information on an on-going basis
* Working as a leading member of the Sales team to plan and exercise sales strategy for the continual expansion of products and services;
* Providing regular Sales Reports and feedback of calls and accounts as may be required.
Candidates should have excellent communication and computer skills with the ability to remain self-motivated and work on their own initiative. A driving license and the ability to travel both in the UK and overseas are a requirement
