An established national charity for people with Learning Disabilities require an Area Manager to manage their services in Powys and the surrounding areas. This position is initially for 1 year but may possibly be permanent after this period.

Essential criteria for the role is:
* QCF Level 5 in Care Management (or equivalent NVQ Level 4 in Care)
* Significant experience of working with Learning Disabilities
* Significant experience and understanding of Supported Living, Residential, Day Centres, Life Longer Learning and Short Breaks
* Significant experience in multi site management
* Able to drive

Desirable traits for the role are:
* Ability to work under pressure
* Flexible
* Ability to communicate and organise effectively
* Strong attention to detail
