The company you could be joining is one of the largest Telecom companies in Belgium with subsidiaries further afield. The company is currently undergoing a major IT transformation making this opportunity a very exiting chance to become part of something long term.

The Role:
My client are after a ArcSight System Application Administrator following a strategic decision to bolster the companies software security.

The main duties and Responsibilities:
ArcSight ESM infrastructure monitoring
o You will be responsible for carrying out analysis of Logs
o System events management and response
o You will troubleshoot database issues.
o Multi-tier issues troubleshooting
Connectors monitoring
o Connectors logs analysis
o Functionality issues troubleshooting
o Parsing issues troubleshooting
o Handling and tracking heterogeneity in connector parameters
Occasional evening maintenance windows (After 19hr - this is periodic)
o Connectors upgrades (software, AUPs)
o ESM upgrades
o Important structural changes in the infrastructure
Infrastructure sizing
o Devices throughput monitoring
o Sizing issues detection (pre-process, post-process)
Close relationship with ArcSight Support centre
o Create tickets for operational issues
o Proactive followup of tickets
Security Analysts support
o SPOC for security analysts incidents
o Get ownership of operational issues incidents
o Dispatch engineering related incidents
Infrastructure administration
o Users rights configuration
o New/Terminated users monitoring
o Connector remote deployment
o Depoly and support new SEC engineering solutions into production

Ideally you will have experience of the following Tools:
o ArcSight
o Splunk
o Tripwire

Minimum skills:
Good communication Skills - Must have good technical writing skills
Negotiation capabilities in the customer relations
Flow Chart and Processes understanding and mastering
Process minded

Must be able to speak English, French and Dutch
