Arcsight SIEM Consultant

A technically focused security consultancy are seeking ArcSight & SIEM consultants for a variety of projects in the Security Incident Event Management space. Candidates need a minimum of three years' experience with platforms such as ArcSight, or possible Envision, NetIQ, Splunk, Symantec, Tripwire, Logrhythm, McAfee Nitro or IBM/Q1 Labs, in a deployment, integration and configuration/tuning capacity. Candidates will be required to travel in the UK and Europe as required so will need to at least be an EU Citizen.

My client are seeking candidates who would be able to 'hit the ground running' in this role so you'll need to have strong client facing exposure, and stakeholder management experience too. - Experience in establishing Incident Response Procedures
- Led the design and deployment of multiple SOCs
- Effective communicator at all levels
- Written/Developed IT Security policy/process/procedure
- Good knowledge of SIEM architectures
- Project/Programme Management skills
- Knowledge of ITIL and/or Maturity Assessment methodologies
- Solid understanding of security and network architectures
- Proven background in identification of risk & leading implementation mitigation strategies

Desirable experience includes:
- ArcSight solution design and development - ArcSight SME
- Hands on ArcSight deployment experience - ideally ArcSight Analyst and Admin certified
- Experience as an analyst using the ArcSight console in a SOC environment
- Experience with event analysis in IDS/IPS and vulnerability management systems
- Hands on vulnerability management/pen testing experience
- CISSP, GIAC - GCIH qualifications
