ARCHIVING SOLUTIONS ENGINEER (1554)
For a six month project at our client site in Zurich we are looking for a senior ARCHIVING SOLUTIONS ENGINEER (1554)
As a Senior Engineer you will contribute to the design and implementation of capturing and archiving solutions as well as the respective maintenance and 3rd level support.
In addition to hands-on design, implementation and 3rd level support tasks you will:
- liaise with Business Analysis to contribute to requirements engineering process and respective reviews
- conduct effort estimates for the respective project's engineering, testing and integration tasks
Requirements
You are expected to have a successful track record for both of the two disciplines in scope here:
- e2e software development life cycle with focus on the integration of 3rd party components
- incident management, problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations
From a technical point of view you should have in depth knowhow and profound experience (with demonstrated practice during the last 5 years) in the following areas:
- Windows operating system on client (WXP, Win7) and server (WSP - W2K8) side
- Windows software distribution and packaging mechanisms
- Scritping (batch processes, Perl, SQL, XML)
- Programming (Visual Studio environment, .NET framework)
- Configuration management, Software packaging
- UNIX (Solaris, Linux) experience as a system engineer would be a plus
- Oracle product expertise, expertise in RDBMS modelling and DB development (PL/SQL) would be a plus
- Exchange Server (2003/2007/2010) product experience including SMTP Mail flow, Email Routing, Envelope Journaling would be a plus
- Experience with storage and archiving solutions and resp. product knowledge (OpenText LEA/CM, ComplianceNow) would be a plus
- IT Security (authentication, authorization, cryptography, certificate mgmt., etc)
