Archive Research Support 70% (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Support the archivist with research queries by responding to correspondence and arranging visits
-Carry out a space inventory of all archival rooms
-Labelling shelves in various rooms and update the relevant information in the cataloguing system
-Support for dealing with accessions
-Reconditioning of material in preparation for digitisation

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-First experience in records or archives management is desirable
-Organised, able to work independently with good administrative skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
-Understanding of the importance of handling confidential information with absolute discretion
-Familiarity with electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS) and cataloguing tools
-Good knowledge of English; additional knowledge of German and/or French is a plus
