ARCHITECTURE ENGINEER (CALLERID ON TV) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client LOCATED IN ENGLEWOOD, CO.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- The Architecture Engineer performs analysis, design, development/modification, and testing of the CallerID on TV service and systems to meet scale and robustness requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Gather requirements regarding provisioning and monitoring of CallerID on TV service, features, geo-redundancy, and scale of service.
- Perform proof of concept testing to identify potential solutions.
- Designs and develops a solution or modifies existing solutions to meet the requirements.
- Various options, and associated pro's/con's of each along with an Engineering recommendation will be formally presented and socialized across organizations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- SOFTWARE: Redhat/Linux, MySQL
- SYSTEMS: VoIP Telephony Networks, SIP, Set Top Boxes, Video Delivery Infrastructures, CAMR/AMR
- Technical experience in the analysis and establishment of requirements and design specifications for CallerID on TV or other systems spanning both Video and Telephony.
- Practical knowledge of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and EBIF (Enhanced TV Binary Interchange Format) in an MSO environment are required.
- Working knowledge of telephony networks and video delivery infrastructures is required. Practical experience with scaling, replication mechanisms, performance, and tuning of MySQL database is desired.
- Extensive experience in designing solutions to optimally support the total systems and customer requirements is necessary.
- Possesses excellent knowledge of computer systems, high-level software languages, and database management systems.
