Our client, active in the Telecom sector, is looking for a Software Architect to join their WFM team for a 6 month project.
Location: Brussels

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The WFM team is responsible for the delivery and operations of the WorkForce Management System that is used at our client for the planning, dispatching and execution of field interventions in the Customer Operations and Network Engineering & Operations divisions. The WFM team is doing the design, development and testing of the WFM applications and is also responsible for the operations of the system.
The WFM applications are based on a product that has been configured and customised according the needs. Next to this there are a number of custom developed components for the integration with other applications, and for specific requirements that are not available in the product.
As architect, you build up an expert knowledge in the product and you take the lead in the functional and technical design of the applications in the domain. You work in close collaboration with the business partners and the architects of the surrounding applications.
You do a handover to the development team and continue during the delivery life cycle in guiding the development team and performing quality reviews and testing activities.
You provide support to the operations team.
PROFILE:
- At least 5 years of experience in architecture and design of large scale business-critical applications
- Experience in guiding a development team and working with external product suppliers or consultancy companies
- Strong analytical skills and interested to master complex logical subjects like planning optimization
- Technical knowledge of Unix, Oracle SQL, .NET and Java
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an advantage
