Architect - Datacentre Migrations/Infrastructure Migrations

POSITION: ARCHITECT - DATACENTRE MIGRATIONS/INFRASTRUCTURE MIGRATIONS - HOLLAND

We are seeking an experienced Architect - Datacentre Migrations/Infrastructure Migration to support our customer with their Data centre relocation programme. It is essential to have experience in managing and delivering IT Infrastructure Project specifically two previous large Data centre migrations, especially with Network and security migrations.

ROLE:

- Define possible migration approaches based on complexity and risk
- Consider potential transformation opportunities that do not compromise timelines or increase risk
- Provide experience of how others have solved problems (from experience)
- Solid experience in best practice and best pragmatic approaches to migration
- Establish key principles, guidelines and approaches for migration
- Help define to-be design
- Contribute to hardware order
- Contribute to target operating model design
- Participate and lead workshops to help achieve some of the items above.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Be able to run workshops
- Familiarity with migration approaches and rationale for doing them.
- Good technical knowledge around IT Infrastructure
- Good understanding of network and Security technologies
- Experience of working with architects
- Diplomatic approach to keeping to the business case
- Infrastructure Migration architecture and execution experience
