Archer Database Administrator

SUMMARY:

- This resource will be accountable for creating and managing processes that feed the Archer application.
- He or she will be accountable for designing, developing and supporting secure data feeds to and from the Archer application to both internal and external entities.
- Knowledge of the Archer application is a pre-requisite.
- Job duties include but not limited to: designing and supporting data transformations and interfaces, designing, administering and supporting the underlying SQL database for Archer, creating and scheduling jobs for file transfer to and from external entities,
- Writing SQL queries on the Archer database.
- This resource will also be responsible for publishing data from Archer and assisting with data analytics.
- Work experience with configuring Archer and developing integrations based on technical requirements is a must.
- Expertise with Archer data publication services and data feed manager.
- Proven ability with debugging Archer data feeds and ability to debug performance issues with Archer.
- Ability to write APIs within Archer.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 8 years experience related field
- Minimum 3-5 years hands on experience designing, troubleshooting and supporting SQL databases for enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of Client applications such as Global directory, PeopleSoft etc.
- Proven ability to write and troubleshoot interfaces between multiple applications.
- Understand data feeds, prior data integration experience required.
- Knowledge and experience with .NET and SQL
- Understanding of the applications development life cycle.
- At least 3-5 years experience developing, implementing and supporting critical enterprise applications on a distributed platform.
- Firm understanding of data management principles and efficient database design.
- IT experience with XML, XSLT, LDAP and Windows technology.
