APS6 Project Manager x 2

WE HAVE TWO EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES TO SECURE 6 MONTH NON ONGOING POSITIONS FOR 2 PROJECT MANAGERS AT THE APS6 LEVEL.

DUTIES:

- Manage or assist with the management of projects or work-streams within a Program. Each project or work-stream will deliver outputs and products which contribute to the delivery of the Program's outcomes and benefits.
- Manage projects or components of projects in accordance with the Project/Program schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Undertake and manage project scope, planning, scheduling, reporting and control activities as part of the wider Program effort. Manage project risks and issues, establish frameworks to identify solutions.
- Set work priorities and oversee financial and other resources to complete work-streams and assignments efficiently and effectively and in line with the department's accountability obligations. Oversee technical and business resources to deliver work packages and projects.
- Create and maintain project documentation in accordance with the Project/Program requirements and methodologies based on Prince 2, MSP and Systems Engineering.
- Liaise with internal and external clients, technical development/support groups and external vendors to achieve superior technical solutions;
- Other tasks as required by the Director of the section.
