APS6 - EL1 Property Officer

Fantastic 6-12 month non-ongoing opportunity for an APS6/EL1 Property Officer to join the Overseas Property Office within a Federal Government department.

The Innovation and Portfolio Performance Section is responsible for the introduction and application of recommendations of the Joint Review of the Overseas Property Office (OPO), which was finalised in 2011.

In this role, you will:

- Transition all current Memorandums of Understanding with Commonwealth agencies to market-based rent;
- Oversee the annual valuation program for the overseas portfolio;
- Assist with financial analysis and modelling, as well as preparation of the annual Portfolio Strategic Plan; and
- Identify and develop workplace design and energy efficiencies.

The development of an OPO website is also proposed and you would work together with a business analyst in the preparations for the website, as well as providing secretariat support to the project governance board. This position has a varied and challenging workload.
