The Leisure Operations (Lifeguard)apprenticeship opportunity will include the following responsibilities:

Provide clean, safe, warm, friendly and fun facilities and activities;

Provide a friendly and welcome service to all customers;

Maintain a full product knowledge of the services available at the Centre and advise customers accordingly;

Adopt a pro-active approach to continuous service improvement;

Supervise the Swimming Pool;

Assist in setting up sports equipment.

This is an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Leisure Operations.

Skills required:

A thorough and in-depth knowledge of health, safety and welfare procedures (relevant to the post being applied for).

A thorough and in-depth knowledge of quality procedures (relevant to the post being applied for).

A thorough and in-depth knowledge of customer care procedures (relevant to the post being applied for).

Excellent hands on skill and ability.

Relevant previous experience and work record.

Qualifications required: Two GCSEs Grades A to C in Maths and English (or acceptable equivalent). You will also need to complete an initial assessment, which will help us guide you to the most appropriate programme to meet your needs.
